INEC rewards 1731 staffs with promotion

The commission’s Director, Voter Education and Publicity, for Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC , Adenike Tadese have stated that the promotion of no fewer than 1,731 staff members who excelled in the 2024 promotion examinations have been approved.

FUSION CHRONICLES NIGERIA NEWSPAPER gathered that among those promoted are 59 Deputy Directors elevated to the rank of Director, 168 Assistant Directors promoted to Deputy Director, and 167 Chiefs advanced to Assistant Director an also 1,337 officers across various grades were rewarded for their performance and promoted accordingly.

The commission described the promotions as one of the ongoing efforts to motivate its workforce, and enhance productivity, and maintain a professional environment. This achievement marks another milestone that underscores the Commission’s unwavering commitment to enhancing staff welfare and supporting career progression.

“A detailed breakdown of the promotions reveals that: 59 Deputy Directors (Grade Level 16) have been elevated to the rank of Director (Grade Level 17); 168 Assistant Directors (Grade Level 15) were promoted to the rank of Deputy Director (Grade Level 16); 167 Chiefs (Grade Level 14) advanced to the position of Assistant Director (Grade Level 15); and 1,337 officers between Grade Levels 7 and 13 were found deserving and promoted accordingly.”
