200-Level Computer Science Student Kidnapped at BSU College of Health Sciences Gate
Makurdi in Benue State Panic has gripped the academic community following the reported abduction of a 200-level Computer Science student of Father Adasu University (FAU), formerly Benue State University (BSU), near the institution’s College of Health Sciences gate.
According to eyewitness accounts, the student was forcefully taken by unidentified assailants in broad daylight on Wednesday. The incident occurred just outside the Health Sciences complex, a location frequented by students, staff, and residents of the surrounding area.

“The kidnappers came in a black vehicle, stopped suddenly near the gate, and dragged the student in before speeding off,” said one eyewitness who asked to remain anonymous for security reasons.
The sudden attack has sparked fear among students and passersby, many of whom scattered during the commotion. Security personnel have since arrived at the scene, and efforts are reportedly underway to trace the vehicle and locate the victim.
Authorities at FAU have yet to issue an official statement, but concerned students are calling for increased security presence on and around campus premises.
