Why APC Suspended Activities at National Secretariat

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has temporarily suspended all activities at its national secretariat in Abuja, following the tragic death of its Director of Administration,  Hon. AbdulRauf Adekunle Adeniji.

Adeniji was kidnapped several weeks ago and subsequently killed by his abductors, despite a ransom negotiation of ₦50 million with his family. In response to the news, the party’s leadership has announced a temporary closure of its national office to allow staff to mourn and pray for the deceased and his family.

According to an internal memo, all party activities at the secretariat have been suspended until Monday, 14 April 2025.
