The Jigawa State Commissioner for Special Duties, Mr. Auwalu Danladi Sankara, has returned N301 million in unspent funds from the 2024 Ramadan feeding programme to the state treasury.
The statement was made when the State Executive Council meeting, chaired by Governor Malam Umar Namadi, where the commissioner presented a breakdown of expenditures incurred across the 27 local government areas.

The Executive Council applauded Mr. Sankara’s actions, describing them as a model of public service integrity.
