Niger State Governor, Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago, has dissolved his cabinet. The announcement was made during a State Executive Council meeting in Minna.
Governor Bago expressed appreciation to the cabinet members for their services and wished them well in their future endeavors.

However, he retained the following key officials: Secretary to the State Government (SSG),Chief of Staff (CoS),Deputy Chief of Staff (DCoS), andt other principal officers in his office.
No reasons were given for the dissolution or the retention of specific officials.
